- Start with whichever card number corresponds with the day of the month of your birthday. (For example, if Jane Austen were playing, her birthday is December 16, so she would start with card #16.)
- For each subsequent game, use the next card in the sequence. (Jane would use card #17 for the second game, card #18 for the third, and so on.)
- After card #31, the next card you use will be #1.
